IMPROVE YOUR SKIING & RIDING EXPERIENCE
We want you to have your best day on the slopes at Alyeska, our dedicated professional staff is here to make sure you do just that. From the first time skier or snowboarder to mountain enthusiasts looking to improve their personal skiing or riding technique in carving, powder, tackling the steeps or improving your skills in the terrain parks.
Alyeska’s Snowsports School has a level of instruction catered to every skier and rider’s ability. Our lesson programs are structured to teach participants how to improve their technique, read and adjust to changing snow conditions, expand their terrain selection, and increase their mountain awareness, knowledge and safety.
Most of all, our Snowsports School has a dedicated lesson program for all ages and abilities and is here to maximize your smile while on the slopes.
Due to limited availability, we recommend reserving your lessons online as far in advance as possible. We highly recommend that you purchase your lift tickets at the same time you purchase your lesson to ensure you will have lift access for all of your lesson days. There are no waitlists for Snowsports School Lessons.
REFUND POLICY - LESSONS
Our Lesson Refunds policy will apply to all of our lesson products in the Snowsports School. Guests can cancel without penalty if more than 24 hours’notice is given. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Please consider canceling as soon as you know you will not be able to take the lesson. Our instructors only earn money when they work, and it is difficult to reschedule them from last minute cancelations.

PRIVATE SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS
Maximize your ski ability with instruction tailored to your personal goals, expectations and ability level. Everyone from beginners to experts will find themselves progressing on the mountain after a private lesson with our top professionals. Alyeska is proud to be offering the best in personalized, one-on-one instruction.
Choose a half-day or a full-day lesson that can accommodate up to a group of four. Your instructor can focus on the group as a whole or provide feedback to a member of your groupindividually. It’s all up to your group on how you would like to structure the private lesson!
All private lessons will meet at the Day Lodge base area unless prior arrangements have been made for an alternate meeting location. The purchase of a private lesson also allows access to the Snowsports School Line at each chairlift, whenever accompanied by your private lesson instructor. This is a great option for a family that wants to stay together for the day, or for a group of kids that feel comfortable skiing together and are of similar ability levels.
Our Private Lesson experience can be customized to accommodate the needs of yourself or your group.
